CEAC VOLUNTEER GROUP FEBRUARY MONTHLY MEETING

 

WHEN:                Saturday, 2/13/16

                             11:30am for social (you can bring your own lunch & discuss plants)

                             12 noon for the meeting

 

WHERE:               UA / CEAC classroom Rm 117

                              1951 East Roger Road, NE corner of Campbell & Roger

                              From the intersection, go east on Roger & make the first left into the Campus Ag Center

      Parking: south of the main building or south of the small greenhouses

 

WHO:                   Open to CEAC Volunteers AND the general public – free of charge

 

WHAT:                 Program: Lettuce in hydroponics

                                             Varieties that do well here in the desert SW

                                             Hydroponic systems for lettuce (and other small crops)

                                             Conditions & protocols for growing

                             Produce available (free)

                            Tours of the CEAC greenhouse facilities after the meeting
